The two magazines take different approaches to cooking. 

  • Cook’s Illustrated features new American classics and international recipes. This magazine explores the science behind cooking. Included in each issue are no-nonsense reviews and taste tests, step-by-step illustrations, and quick tips.
  • Cook’s Country features simple, all-American recipes (like S’mores Brownies, Ranch Chili and Potato Casseroles). This magazine also includes sections on Regional Favorites, Clever Kitchen Shortcuts, Heirloom Recipes, and Pull-Out Recipe Cards.
